Exhibition

The exhibition gives you a good start for your visit or guided tour, whatever the weather. You will receive information about the ecological basics and connections, about geology, botany and zoology on the Schynige Platte. A DVD provides information about the flowering and the work in the garden throughout the year.

One panel is dedicated to the biodiversity of the alpine pastures: Why are alpine pastures so colourful? It shows the "long-term memory of nature" and is based on results from the experimental pasture.
