The exhibition is an excellent introduction to your visit or guided tour in any weather. It contains information on ecological principles and associated aspects as well as on geology, botany and zoology on Schynige Platte. A DVD gives information on the flowers and work in the garden over the course of the year. One panel is dedicated to the biodiversity of the alp pastures: Why are alp pastures so colourful? It depicts nature’s long-term memory and is based on results from the experimental pasture. Shop Visit our new shop! We have beautiful postcards, small souvenirs and seeds of Alpine flowers, guidebooks on the Alpine Garden, medicinal plants in the Alpine zone and on the exhibition as well as other interesting reading matter on Alpine flowers and the Alpine Garden. You can also get information on the Alpine Garden. It’s well worth a visit!
